The last visit with my cousin, Brooke, led me to a few gems. It’s what my massage therapist, Anna, told me a few weeks ago after my body was aching from head-to-toe. She balanced my chakras & told me people-pleasing is bad for my health.
Something magic happens when you put a thought out into the world you truly believe in. It’s like Life says, “Ok, I see you. You want that? You need that? You are that? The heat of coral sedum blossoms & the cool of round sedum leaves inspired my recent color crush: Coral + Frost. I walk by them every day at the greenhouse in awe of their color play. The Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee Chief told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee Chief simply replied, “The one you feed.”
